1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, taking a body scan, or otherwise using the UNBOUND iOS application (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
UNBOUND is a body-transformation iOS application published by Guavalin LLC. The Service analyzes user-submitted body scan photos using artificial intelligence to assign a body archetype and a starting rank, generates a personalized 12-week training protocol, and tracks workout sessions, streaks, in-app Gains, badges, and monthly rescans.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the local age of majority, whichever is greater) to use the Service. The Service is not directed at children under 16 and is not appropriate for users with medical conditions affecting exercise tolerance without physician clearance.
4. Health & Safety — Not Medical Advice
UNBOUND is a fitness and motivation product, not a medical device. The archetype assignment, rank, scan verdict, and training protocol are algorithmic suggestions — not diagnoses, prescriptions, or medical guidance. Consult a licensed physician before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have a heart condition, injury, eating disorder, or are pregnant. Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guavalin LLC is not liable for any injury, illness, eating-disorder behavior, body-image outcome, or other adverse result from use of the Service.
5. Account & Sign-In
Accounts are created via Apple Sign-In, authenticated through Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Apple ID associated with your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You may delete your account from within the app or by emailing support; deletion is irreversible.
6. Body Scan Photos & AI Analysis
To use core features you submit three (3) photographs of your body. These photos are transmitted to our backend and processed by a third-party AI vision model (Anthropic Claude or OpenAI GPT-4 Vision, at our discretion) to generate your archetype, rank, and verdict. By submitting photos you grant Guavalin LLC a limited, revocable license to store, process, and analyze those photos solely to operate the Service. We do not use your photos to train AI models, do not sell them, and do not share them with advertisers. You may delete your photos at any time from the app or by request. 7. Subscription & Billing
Premium features require a paid subscription. All subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store, with subscription state managed via RevenueCat and paywall variants tested through Superwall. Pricing, billing cycles, and free-trial terms are disclosed at the point of purchase in the app. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal through your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple per their App Store policies; Guavalin LLC cannot issue direct refunds.
8. User Content & Share Cards
You retain ownership of the photos you submit. The Service may generate share cards summarizing your archetype, rank, streak, or progress, which you may share publicly at your discretion. By sharing a card you grant Guavalin LLC a non-exclusive license to display its non-photographic elements (rank, archetype name, verdict text) for promotional purposes. We will never publish your scan photos without express written consent.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: submit photos of anyone other than yourself; submit explicit or unlawful images; attempt to reverse-engineer the archetype algorithm; bypass the paywall or in-app purchase system; scrape, automate, or impersonate other users; or harass support staff. Violation may result in account termination without refund.
10. Intellectual Property
UNBOUND, the chain-and-bolt mark, “Break the restriction,” archetype names (BRUTE, UNIT, LEAN-CUT, CARVED, V-TAPER), and all visual design, copy, and software are the exclusive property of Guavalin LLC. References to anime or other works are inspirational only; no claim is made to any third-party intellectual property.
11. Termination
Guavalin LLC may suspend or terminate your account at its discretion for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of subscription fees already charged by Apple.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided as-is and as-available, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. Guavalin LLC disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI-generated verdicts, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guavalin LLC's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) one hundred US dollars ($100) or (b) the amount you paid Apple for UNBOUND subscriptions in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration in Delaware; you waive the right to participate in class actions to the extent permitted by law.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
